As of tomorrow, November 1, 2025, ARIKA CO., LTD. will celebrate its 30th anniversary.
Since our founding in 1995, we have pursued the essence of “play,” bringing many titles into the world over the years. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the players who have supported us, the development staff who have walked alongside us, our publishers and partner companies, and the game fans who have warmly cheered us on.
Looking back on ARIKA’s history, it has been a series of challenges. Carrying forward the passion of the early arcade era, we explored new forms of 3D fighting with the “Street Fighter EX” series, and we have created numerous titles across genres?action, puzzle, rhythm games, and more. Even as times change, our uncompromising stance on “fun” and the “depth of play” has always remained at our core.
From home consoles to arcades, and into the age of networks and digital distribution, the games industry has changed dramatically over these 30 years. Yet the thrill and immersion a player feels the moment they pick up a controller remains the same as ever. At ARIKA, we continue to take on new challenges every day to deliver that feeling to more people, and in greater depth.
Over these three decades, we have encountered many works?and even more, we have been blessed with many colleagues. Development is a job built on countless iterations and experiments. Notice of Settlement of Civil Litigation
We are pleased to announce that a settlement has reached on February 14, 2024
regarding the claim for civil damages against Takahiro Narazaki for the threats
made against us and our officers, as reported on April 1, 2022.
Although it has already convicted of criminal intimidation, we have settled our
claim for the investment in security equipment and the cost of its implementation,
as well as the economic loss and damage to our reputation caused by the cancellation
of the event we scheduled to attend, as shown in the attached sheet.
We will provide an explanation to all concerned parties who have been inconvenienced
or concerned.
In addition, we will continue to develop a firm attitude against such behavior.

ARIKA CO., LTD. (hereinafter called ARIKA) (President: Akira Nishitani),
the game development company, having its principal place of business at Shinagawa-ku,
Tokyo has reached an agreement with Bandai Namco Studios Inc.
(hereinafter called Bandai Namco), the developer of the TEKKEN series
(Publisher: Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc.),
for contracted development work on the "TEKKEN" series.
Moving forward, we will continue to be involved in the development of the
"TEKKEN" series by utilizing our technical expertise.

executives. There was a notice from our web contact on September 3rd, 2019 that
threatens to harm our company and implies that our executives will be killed.

private in order to cooperate with the investigation.
